Are we allowed to bring single stoves for hot bevvies/extra food?

I'm afraid you are not under any circumstances allowed to bring stoves. This would pose a fire risk that committee is not comfortable with having on-site. There certainly won't be a shortage of food available at Port-A-Rally with generous portions planned, but if you still believe you will require cooked food beyond what will be provided please contact committee directly via the "contact us" page in the main Rally menu. Any hot drinks can be filled using the water boilers that will be provided in Badgers Lodge (Main site building).

Is lunch at the SU mandatory on the saturday or can we choose to eat elsewhere in Portsmouth?

Lunch at the SU is not mandatory, if you wish to have lunch elsewhere feel free to explore the many lunch spots that are available in Portsmouth. Please just make it back in time to meet with your group to travel to your afternoon activity if you are booked onto one. If you are booked onto an afternoon off please return to the SU just before 1700 so you can get on the coach going back to site.

Can I pay for this through revolut (im irish so bank transfers might be diffiult)

Payment for rally through revolut may not work for us. If you use the contact form here we will get in touch with you directly with additional help on how to complete your payment.

Can we wear red clothing in Portsmouth?

I've just seen someone walk past in a bright red jumper, and I regularly walk around wearing red. Maybe don't walk into a pub with a Southampton shirt on though lol, it will be a matchday.

How would the silent disco work with hearing aids?

Silent disco headphones are essentially just over-ear bluetooth headphones. If your hearing aids can be worn with over-ear headphones, you should be able to participate in the silent disco.

Can we choose where we pitch our tent within Sandy Acres?

Each club will be allotted a general area of the campsite to pitch in for logistic's sake, but within that area you are welcome to pitch wherever you wish. If you have chosen quiet camping you will be welcome to choose anywhere within the quiet camping area.

As soon as you are able, I'd like some clarification on "[t]his area may not be as quiet as previous rallies [sic] quiet camping areas" Often I'm the only user of Quiet Camping, and I barely need it, so I'm trying to work out if there's any actual advantage to booking it, because at Space Rally we had the same message and there wasn't really

We are providing the quiet camping for anyone who wishes to be away from some of the noise that will be going on in the evenings, however due to the size of the site we cannot guarantee that it will be as quiet. We are currently planning on putting the quiet camping in the Mary rose camping area here, which is the furthest away from the marquee and campfire circle.
